About

People seek therapy for all sorts of reasons. Maybe it’s the loss of something or someone treasured, relational strife, a big life event that knocks you off your feet, the quiet yet never-ending internal struggle, a spiritual wrestling, or some other thing that has become a “hang-up.” I’ve been there, too. Many times the struggles of life cause us to feel under-resourced and overwhelmed. My passion is to help make the difficult feel less difficult, the alone feel less lonely, and for my clients to believe that their life – pain and all – has meaning and purpose.

When it comes to helping, I come alongside like a guide on a journey to help you face and embrace what is hard, what is broken and hurting, what may even feel unmentionable – and move into resiliency, healing, and new ways of being and seeing. As a Christian counselor who believes in the power of integrative care, I specialize in combining the tried and true of good therapy, with dynamic and practical spiritual support. This enables us to make sense of the hard and the good in your world, and care for all of you: mind, body, and spirit.

Whether you are a Christian wanting professional counseling that supports your values, or you are someone who is spiritually curious or not but want to try therapy with faith-informed care, your process will be met with professionalism you can trust and practices that you can feel safe in.

Opening up to a counselor can feel vulnerable, I know. My desire and commitment is to foster an environment that invites the complexities of life, vulnerability and honesty, curiosity and care, safety and warmth, and some humor to help us along the way. Healing and growth are more life journeys than destinations. You don’t have to journey alone.
