About
Hi, I’m Dr. Terry Reese, Founder and Director of Walk by Faith Counseling. My counseling journey began after experiencing the redeeming grace of sobriety in 2001 while serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. Through more than 26 years of combined military service in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and the U.S. Coast Guard, including a 2006 global deployment, I’ve come to deeply understand the impact of service, trauma, and recovery. Guided by the Holy Spirit and the transformative grace of Jesus Christ, I discovered a calling to shepherd others toward the healing, wholeness, and divine purpose found in Him.
In addition to my clinical work, I write and teach on faith, identity in Christ, and mental health. My passion is helping individuals live congruently with their biblical beliefs while cultivating emotional resilience, spiritual integrity, and authentic connection to God and others.
