Meet Angie

Angie has been a devoted follower of Jesus Christ since accepting Him as her Savior at a young age. From an early age, she sensed God’s calling on her life and believed He was preparing her to serve alongside her husband in ministry. For more than 45 years, Angie and her husband have faithfully served the Lord in local churches through worship ministry, and her faith continues to be the foundation of both her personal life and counseling practice.

One of Angie’s life verses is Jeremiah 29:11: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'” She also finds daily encouragement in Romans 5:3-5, James 1:12, Galatians 6:9, and Isaiah 40:31, believing that God faithfully brings hope, healing, and purpose even through life’s most difficult seasons.

Angie began her clinical career while completing graduate school, serving internships in inpatient psychiatric hospitals where she provided individual and group therapy to adults, adolescents, and children. Following graduation, she joined a behavioral healthcare hospital as a therapist and later advanced to Director of Social Services while continuing to provide direct clinical care. During this time, she completed her supervised clinical hours and earned her Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.

Since 2004, Angie has dedicated her career to helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. In 2007, she founded her private practice with a passion for providing compassionate, evidence-based counseling in a safe and supportive environment. She has extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, stress, grief, anger management concerns, relationship difficulties, women’s mental health issues, personality disorders, and the emotional impact of chronic medical conditions. She also spent six years providing geriatric psychotherapy, helping older adults and their families navigate the unique transitions and challenges that accompany later stages of life.

Angie believes every person is created in the image of God with inherent worth, purpose, and the capacity for growth. She understands that life’s hardships can leave people feeling discouraged, overwhelmed, or disconnected, but she is passionate about helping clients rediscover hope, healing, and resilience. Her counseling style is warm, encouraging, strengths-based, and practical. She integrates proven, evidence-based therapeutic approaches with biblical principles when desired by the client, recognizing that lasting healing often addresses the emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual aspects of life.

Committed to excellence, Angie continually pursues advanced professional training to provide the highest quality care. She has completed specialized training with respected leaders including Dr. Daniel Hughes, Dr. Janina Fisher, and Dr. Karyn Purvis, founder of Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), along with numerous conferences and continuing education programs throughout her career. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adolescent-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.

Outside the counseling office, Angie treasures time with her husband of 41 years, their three grown children, and her family. She enjoys traveling, music, shopping, and creating meaningful memories with those she loves.

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed, Angie considers it a privilege to walk alongside you with compassion, professional expertise, and the hope found in Christ. Her desire is to provide a place where you feel heard, valued, and encouraged as you pursue healing and discover the abundant life God has for you.
