Shannon is a licensed minister and has over 15 years of combined experience in the fields of teaching, counseling, and ministry, She holds a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University. Further, Shannon has over 5 years experience as a biblical group counselor and 3 years experience as an individual, couple’s and family biblical counselor. Shannon has completed practicum for both group counseling and individual/couple’s counseling. Additionally, Shannon has obtained certification in grief, crisis and trauma counseling from Talbot University.

Shannon believes every individual is extremely valuable to God, and each human has the potential to live a purposeful and abundant life as Jesus highlighted in John 10:10b: “I have come to give life and life to the full.” However, in order for this to be realized, individuals are to partner with Jesus Christ and His ways. If embraced, biblical counseling can become the deepest form of discipleship, which yields lasting joy and freedom.
