Life can be challenging, frustrating, dark, disappointing, chaotic and really difficult to navigate. It is so easy to lose sight of one’s inner strength, resiliency, worth (in Christ), tools and resources. What do you you find yourself in places like these? My name is Sarah and I would be honored to partner with and walk alongside you on your mental health journey! Integrating Christ and counseling principles and interventions can help begin to bring about lasting change and with this change comes healing and freedom. I understand taking the first step on this journey is the hardest. Whatever you have been through, wherever you are right now, I would love to meet you in that place and work with you towards healing!

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin- Baylor and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Amberton University. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, working towards full licensure. I am practicing at Family Restoration Counseling Services- out of our Forney and Dallas offices. I am also in the process of training and pursuing certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (or EFT).

I have worked with indivudals, couples, families, teens, and children. I am working towards a focus on couples therapy but have experience with many types of clients. I would love to work with you!
