Ron Eckman
Board Certified Christian Counselor, LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), Marriage and Premarital Counselor
About
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor (BCPCC). I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Christian Counseling, as well as a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. I also hold a certification from the International Board of Christian Care. My personal experiences along with my passion for promoting healthy marriages, relationships, and families drive my desire to help others achieve those goals.
I have a special commitment to support military personnel, veterans, first responders, and their families. With 24 years of active-duty experience in the Air Force and two sons who followed in my footsteps, I possess a unique understanding of the challenges faced by these individuals. I recognize the barriers that can prevent you from seeking help, and I strive to create a confidential and trusting environment to help you navigate these difficulties.
I have been married to my wife for over 29 years, and we have three married adult children and one grandchild. While our journey has been wonderful and rewarding, it hasn’t always been easy or perfect. Because of this, I can empathize with the struggles you may encounter in your marriage or while raising your children. I would be honored to explore how I can help you.
Additionally, I have worked as a therapist in the school district at the high school level for several years and have gained extensive experience in understanding and helping teenagers cope with the challenges they encounter at school, at home, and in the world.
