With over 20 years of experience as a licensed therapist and certified relationship coach my passion is to help people have healthy relationships.  My practice specializes in relationships and connection.  For me, personally and professionally, my most important relationship is with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  After being baptized at age 30, I continue to nurture that relationship on a daily basis through prayer, Bible reading, praise and devotion.  I believe God has prepared me for such a time as this, and I am used for my divine purpose as a “Bright Counselor” drinking daily from His Living Water and therefore nurturing and nourishing others.  Through this foundation and connection, I strive to accept people right where they are, reflecting unconditional positive regard.  I offer hope, encouragement and support for people as they navigate their life circumstances.  As a fully trained Gottman counselor, as well as couples and affairs, trauma and addictions recovery, I work to equip people for repair, rebuilding and reconnection within struggling relationships.  I also specialize in family estrangement, working with parents who are estranged by their adult children or alienated from their grandchildren.  I am certified as a family estrangement coach by Dr. Josh Coleman and a certified grief educator by David Kessler.  I know the shortest verse in the Bible is “Jesus Wept” John 11:35 and as He knows and understands our pain and suffering, I strive to reflect the same to others.  I would say one of my favorite verses is Deuteronomy 31:6 – “Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will ever leave you nor forsake you.”  We are never alone, and counseling is an opportunity to be reminded of that truth.
