As a wife, mother, Nana, and someone who has been involved in ministry for more than 30 years, I find that my faith deeply influences the way I approach counseling. One of the verses that guides both my life and my work is Proverbs 4:23: “Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life.” I believe it is important for us as Christians to understand what is happening within our hearts so we can function well emotionally, spiritually, and physically. In counseling, I view emotions as important signals that may point to deeper experiences, wounds, or current struggles that deserve compassion and curiosity rather than shame. My goal is to help clients grow in wholeness and live fully in their relationship with God, within themselves, and with those around them. Through kindness, biblical principles, and thoughtful exploration, I seek to help clients move toward greater healing, congruency, and purpose.
