This pioneering work offers a comprehensive and faith-centered approach to overcoming addiction along with individual, marital, and family counseling. His extensive expertise is rooted in a rich formal education background with a B.A. in Psychology, an M.A. in Theology, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Pastoral Counseling. His practical experience includes serving on Church Pastoral staff, having rigorous training and employment in a psychiatric hospital, and working as a psychiatric assistant. Dr. Samaan is a former Certified Addictions Professional (CAP) Instructor and has served as a volunteer Police Chaplain. His specialization is further enhanced by over seven advanced certifications in fields such as Family Therapy, Marriage Therapy, Adolescent Therapy, Crisis and Abuse Therapy, Sexual and Sex Abuse Therapy, and Substance Abuse and Addiction Therapy. This diverse and profound knowledge base equips him to address the complex challenges of addiction and personal and relational issues with both clinical understanding and spiritual insight.
