My faith in Jesus Christ has been the anchor of my life for the past 26 years. I have walked with Him through seasons of joy, deep loss, ministry wounds, physical illness in my family, and personal trials that have shaped both my character and my compassion. Through those experiences, I have come to know God not only as powerful, but as profoundly kind, patient, and deeply committed to healing what is broken.

One of the Scriptures that guides my life and work is Philippians 3:10: “I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to Him in His death…” My goal in counseling is not merely symptom relief but helping people know Christ more deeply and experience His transforming power in the middle of real life.

I am also deeply shaped by Ephesians 1 and Ephesians 3, where Paul prays that believers would receive “the Spirit of wisdom and revelation” and be strengthened in their inner being. Those prayers reflect my heart for clients: that they would grow in identity, stability, and intimacy with God.

In therapy sessions, I integrate Biblical teaching in a thoughtful and clinically responsible way. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, so I use evidence-based approaches rooted in neuroscience, attachment theory, trauma research, and cognitive-behavioral principles. When clients desire Christian counseling, we incorporate:

Prayer (when welcomed and appropriate)
Scripture reflection
Exploring identity in Christ
Addressing shame and forgiveness
Inner healing work
Understanding spiritual warfare in a balanced, biblically grounded way

I do not force spiritual interventions into therapy. Faith integration is always collaborative and respectful of the client’s comfort level.
