Compassionate Hearts Counseling, founded by Michelle Dyl, LPC, offers compassionate, faith‑based Christian counseling for adults. Michelle provides a safe, supportive space to heal, grow, and pursue renewed well‑being with clarity and confidence.

As a faithful (Eastern) Orthodox Christian of over 35 years, my faith is the foundation of my life and my work. I was introduced to the Church during a season of profound personal struggle, and in its teachings, I found a home, peace, and a true path forward with Christ. This experience inspired my calling to become a therapist—to integrate my faith with the care I provide to others.

After a fulfilling, long-term career as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Jefferson County’s community mental health system, where I focused on crisis work and youth in residential treatment, I felt called to a different direction. In 2024, I transitioned to private practice to fully integrate my spiritual values into my therapeutic work.
