I’m Melody Camacho, LMFT, and for me, therapy isn’t just a profession, it’s a calling. God placed this mission in my heart, and I’ve learned that the need is real and urgent, especially in the places where families are trying to heal while being pulled apart. With three years of clinical experience, I offer Christian Marriage & Family Therapy for individuals and families ages five and up in South Carolina and online. I use a systemic approach because I believe what happens inside one heart often echoes through the whole family, and healing is more than changing behavior, it’s understanding what’s really going on beneath the surface. I work with trauma, communication, faith struggles, and a wide range of disorders, and I bring an eclectic, evidence-informed blend of care (CBT, TF-CBT, motivational interviewing, and play therapy, etc.) because every person (and every family system) needs something thoughtfully tailored, not one-size-fits-all.

What I’m known for is creating a space where people can breathe again. In session, we move with patience and warmth, building clarity, hope, and practical steps forward. Rooted in forgiveness, mercy, grace, and the belief that God can restore what feels broken. One of the clearest “proofs” of my work is what clients often describe as an aha moment: when something finally clicks, when their story makes sense, and when they can see themselves, their patterns, and their next step with new understanding. I bring more than professional experience, I’m a mother of four, a homeschooler, and someone who has supported others through trauma and abuse. I’ve also traveled to Africa on mission, and that experience deepened my compassion and reminded me that healing truly is possible, no matter how heavy things feel.
