I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have recently met the criteria for certification as a Registered Play Therapist.  I am IFS-informed and working towards certification in EMDR.

My work emphasizes emotional and nervous system regulation, a deeper connection to self and others, and a state of sturdiness.

I am a lifelong learner and practice a holistic and individual approach to mental health, incorporating expressive/creative arts, mindfulness techniques, and somatic experiences into sessions, when appropriate. I strive to provide an environment that feels safe and compassionate.

It is a privilege to sit alongside someone as they work towards healing, growth and a more fulfilling life.  I am a Christian and love incorporating faith into counseling sessions when that is desired by the client.

Verses that guide my work:

Romans 12:2 “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-His good, pleasing and perfect will.

1 Peter 4:10 “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”

I believe that I have been called to serve others in this capacity; to support healing, in order for them to see God’s plan and purpose for their lives.
