Howdy and hello! I was born and raised in a Christian home and I accepted Christ as my savior when I was 7 years old. For a long time, I thought that I didn’t have a testimony because I did not have a big traumatic happening that occurred prior to my acceptance of Christ. I have learned that my testimony has been the Lord’s faithful provision on a daily basis as he patiently teaches me to die to myself and live for him. Comparative suffering solves nothing and benefits no one so, as a counselor, I hope to empower my client’s to own their own story and to determine what narrative they want to write next.

Being a Christian does not make us immune from being a human. We will all still wrestle with the pain of living between the already accomplished work of the cross and the not yet of the glory that is to come. We are broken. Our world is broken. And we all need Jesus. No matter what story my clients enter the room with, I know that Christ can redeem it for his glory. My job is to walk alongside others as they process their pain and determine the best path forward.
