My journey into counseling and coaching is deeply tied to my own story of healing. As someone who has walked through seasons of grief, uncertainty, and emotional struggle, I’ve come to know firsthand the power of God’s presence in the midst of pain. I didn’t always have the language for what I was feeling—but over time, through education, study prayer, support, and Scripture, I began to experience restoration.

A verse that has anchored me is Isaiah 61:1:

“He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”

This reminds me that healing is not only possible, but part of God’s heart for us.

Another passage I return to often is Romans 12:2:

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

It beautifully connects faith and mental health—showing that true transformation comes when we align our thoughts with God’s truth.

How I Integrate Biblical Principles:

In my work as a Certified Mental Health Coach, Christian Counselor, and Licensed Minister, I incorporate Scripture, prayer (when welcomed), and biblical principles like grace, forgiveness, identity in Christ, and the fruit of the Spirit. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) principles to help clients understand their emotional patterns and relational needs, while also exploring how their faith can offer grounding, clarity, and hope.
