Lauryn Gatschet
Licensed Professional Counselor, Technician Certification in Neurofeedback
About
Lauryn is a PCLC in Montana and LPCC in Colorado and BCIA board-certified neurofeedback provider who specializes in helping individuals navigate trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and the challenges that often accompany them. She has experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma and understands how traumatic experiences can affect emotional well-being, relationships, self-esteem, and a person’s ability to feel grounded and connected.
Lauryn also works in supporting women through the emotional and mental health challenges that can arise during pregnancy and the postpartum period. She provides a supportive space for women navigating anxiety, stress, identity changes, adjustment to motherhood, relationship changes, and other emotional challenges that can accompany the transition into motherhood. Her goal is to help women feel supported, understood, and connected to themselves during this significant season of life.
Lauryn uses an integrative, trauma-informed approach tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. She incorporates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients develop greater self-awareness, process difficult experiences, and create meaningful and lasting change. As a board-certified neurofeedback provider, she may also incorporate neurofeedback into treatment when appropriate to support the goals of therapy.
In addition to trauma, PTSD, and perinatal and postpartum mental health, Lauryn works with individuals experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, perfectionism, low self-esteem, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and other concerns. She believes that people are not defined by the hardships they have experienced and that change and healing are possible, even in the midst of difficult circumstances.
