Phillipians 4:6 states that we do not have to be anxious for anything, but to bring all our concenrs to God through prayer, petition, and thanksgiving.   As believers we know we can lean on the word of God, and His word is Holy and True.  And then we find ourselves in the midst of life’s struggles and although we believe God’s word, it can feel difficult and even confusing to walk in faith during those difficult times.  ~  God has created us to be in fellowship with others and to provide support to others, using our life experiences and knowledge of scripture to support others.  Life at 35 is experienced much differently than someone who is 20 or 65.   As we age, we gain new insight and understanding of who we are and who God is and how God is always working on our behalf, even when we cannot see that happening!  ~  Having raised three children, worked through marriage struggles and building a career, I have learned how God is always working on our behalf, in ways that are beyond what we can see or even comprehend.  Raising children, managing marital issues, extended family issues, health issues, and building/managing a career brings endless experiences that requires strength and insight and we frequently feel alone in our efforts.  But we are not alone, not if we call on God and surrender our will to His.   For me, this was not easily learned or done, until I had hit a wall and finally had to surrender myself fully to Him.  Once I did, things started to turn around and things unfolded in a way that was superior to anything I could have managed or created for myself.  This is when we know we are not alone and that our Creator is caring for us, at all times, when we make that space for Him to fully enter into our lives and carry us without fear and reservation.  ~ While we are on life’s path and going through the developmental stages that we all process through, it is beneficial and comforting to work with someone who has been through those life stages and can provide insight and a fresh perspective, while also encouraging to continue to walk in faith and know that God is there! Always!
