I’m a firm believer that Holy Spirit is the ultimate counselor, and I seek His guidance in all sessions. I help clients understand how Scripture applies to their lives and to whatever they may be walking through. My sessions are trauma-informed and I am trained in EMDR. My heart is to combine clinical practice therapies and techniques with Biblical guidance and wisdom.

My husband and I have adopted five children, so I have a special place in my heart for working with those who have been impacted by adoption or foster care, including children currently in the system, adults who are caregivers, and adults who were adopted or in foster care, themselves. I taught high school for over 20 years before becoming a therapist, and I love working with teens, as well. In addition to these special populations, I work with people experiencing depression and anxiety, and people walking through a variety of struggles that come with this thing called ‘life’.
