I have always gone to church growing up, however I didn’t really have that intimate relationship with God until I struggled with things personally in high school. During those struggles is when I realized I can’t do life alone and need my Lord and Savior to help guide me and to pull strength from when I didn’t feel like I had any. My favorite bible verse that I find myself always going to is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13) My own journey taught me that God often heals us through the care of others and the hard, sacred work of therapy. I count it a privilege to create space where faith and healing meet.
