I was raised in a home that taught me to know and understand the love of Jesus. This translated into me wanting to live a life that was pleasing to Him in all that I did. This fact governs who I am and how I live my life, as well as well as how I care for those that come for counseling. Psalm 71:24 is the guiding verse of my work: ESV: “And my tongue will talk of your righteous help all the day long,…”. With permission from the individual, I share that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and the Lord created us to have emotions and to steward them. When our body is giving us negative symptoms, that is the sensors in our dashboard telling us to have things checked out. I will use Scripture and prayer, and empirically backed science to bring about the best resolution to their problem.
