I find joy in walking along side people who need a safe space to process the issues that we all face in the difficult seasons of our lives. I have found counseling to be a healing component in my own life after having a baby who didn’t sleep for what seemed like an eternity, during my father’s illness, and being a survivor of sexual abuse as a young teen. God has used these experiences and many more to shape my passion and desire to help others during the sufferings we inevitably walk through on this side of heaven. This world is full of trouble, but we are called to take heart because Jesus, our King, has overcome the world. I desire to bring that truth into the reality of life’s hardships and to help people access the well of hope we have in Christ within the counseling process. The hope that we are promised doesn’t  serve to relieve the  feeling of heartache immediately or even quickly, but it can shape and influence the way we navigate whatever is grieving our hearts.
