There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens—a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance. In the midst of anxiety, depression, and trauma, I believe God offers a path to healing and the abundant life Jesus spoke of: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). As a licensed professional counselor rooted in Christian counseling, I am honored to create a warm, inviting space where your story can be truly heard and where healing can begin.
My own story began in youth and church ministry, where I spent the majority of my young adult life serving at youth camps and churches. Those relationships and experiences deepened my calling and shaped me into the Christian counselor I am today. I saw firsthand how compassionate presence and authentic connection could bring hope amid pain, and that calling led me to integrate faith with professional counseling so I could walk with others toward the same healing I’ve witnessed.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and centered on our authentic therapeutic relationship. As a therapist, I blend evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with somatic practices and Brainspotting—a neuro-experiential technique. I incorporate somatic practices to support the mind-body connection, tailoring each session to your unique needs so we can gently address trauma and emotional challenges together.
Whether you are an adolescent navigating anxiety or depression, an adult working through trauma, life transitions, grief and loss, or eating disorders and body image concerns, or a senior seeking support in a season that feels heavy, I provide individualized counseling in a safe, nonjudgmental space. I specialize in helping teens, young adults, and individuals of all ages find relief from anxiety, depression, and the lasting effects of trauma so you can move toward resilience and lasting change.
I graduated from Denver Seminary in 2011 with a Master’s of Arts in Community Counseling and spent twelve years at the Pediatric Mental Health Institute through Children’s Hospital Colorado and the University of Colorado, working with children, adolescents, and young adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This foundation as a therapist has equipped me to meet you exactly where you are with compassion, expertise, and deep respect for your story.
You do not have to navigate anxiety, depression, or trauma alone. I would be honored to walk with you as your counselor toward healing, hope, and the fuller life you were created for. If you feel ready to take that step, I invite you to reach out—let’s begin this journey together in a space of faith, warmth, and genuine support.
