Hi, I’m Joelnika (Joy) Martin, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A), under the supervision of Dr. Becky Welsh, PhD, LPCS, RPTS. I am a proud wife and mother to seven amazing children, ages 14 to 24. With a household full of energy and excitement, life is always an adventure!
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in South Florida, I’m fluent in Spanish and deeply connected to my community. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. After graduating, I worked at a shelter for homeless youth and single mothers, which sparked my passion for making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and couples, helping them navigate life’s challenges and build stronger, more fulfilling relationships. My goal is to provide support, guidance, and encouragement as individuals and families grow and thrive.
