Jessica Ruiz
Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider, Marriage and Premarital Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor
About
My Christian faith is an important part of who I am, both personally and professionally. As a licensed professional counselor, I believe that God has called me to walk alongside individuals during some of life’s most challenging seasons, offering compassion, encouragement, and a safe space for healing and growth.
One of the scriptures that guides both my personal life and my work is Proverbs 3:5–6, which reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and acknowledge Him as He directs our paths. I also find encouragement in Romans 12:2, which speaks about the renewing of our minds. This scripture closely aligns with my therapeutic approach, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps individuals recognize and challenge unhealthy thought patterns while developing healthier ways of thinking and responding.
I believe that emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being are interconnected. My goal is to integrate evidence-based clinical practices with Biblical wisdom in a way that honors each client’s individual needs, beliefs, and spiritual journey.
Above all, I want my clients to feel heard, valued, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges, discover their strengths, and move toward meaningful healing and lasting change.
