My passion for counseling comes from a deep belief that healing and restoration are possible through both faith and evidence-based therapeutic care. I believe God meets people in the middle of their pain, trauma, and struggles, and that counseling can be a powerful tool for healing, growth, and renewed hope.

As a trauma therapist advanced trained in EMDR therapy, I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigating trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, relationship struggles, and co-parenting or divorce-related challenges. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and rooted in helping clients feel safe, understood, and empowered throughout the healing process.

One scripture that guides my work is Psalm 107:14: “He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains.” I also find encouragement in Romans 12:2, which reminds us of the renewing of the mind and the hope that transformation is possible.

For clients who desire it, I ethically integrate Biblical principles, prayer, and faith-based encouragement into sessions while respecting each person’s individual journey and level of comfort. My goal is never to force faith into therapy, but to create a space where clients can process their struggles honestly while discovering healing, grace, truth, and hope.

I believe therapy and faith can work together beautifully. God often provides practical tools, wisdom, support, and community as part of the healing journey, and it is an honor to walk alongside clients as they move toward freedom, restoration, and emotional wellness.
