Evelyn Duncan
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
About
Hi, I’m Evelyn, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trauma-informed therapist. My Christian faith is an important part of who I am both personally and professionally, and it has been a source of strength throughout my own life. Like many of us, I have walked through difficult seasons, and through them I have experienced the Lord’s presence, guidance, and faithfulness.
One of my favorite Scriptures is Psalm 23: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” It reminds me that even in difficult seasons, we do not walk alone.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trauma-informed therapist, I integrate evidence-based therapy with Biblical principles. When desired by the client, sessions may include Scripture, prayer, and conversations about faith, hope, identity, forgiveness, and purpose.
My goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space where clients can address emotional wounds and life challenges while drawing strength from both effective clinical tools and their faith in God.
If you feel we may be a good fit, please feel free to contact me directly to discuss availability or schedule a session.
