As the owner and founder of Harbor of Hope Counseling and Wellness, my goal is to serve you with compassion and integrity.  I have over 20 years combined experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, school counselor, educator, and a fitness instructor. My experiences allow me to bring a unique perspective to the therapeutic process.  I utilize a strong Biblical foundation and holistic approach to therapy to address the needs of the whole client: body, mind, and spirit. Using the latest research on brain development, as well as training in mindfulness, relaxation techniques, expressive therapies, trauma processing  EFT,  and EMDR,  I equip my clients with useful skills and tools for successful daily living.  I became passionate about holistic healing modalities as a result of personal and family health issues and strive to help my clients live a life of hope, health, and healing!

I specialize in post traumatic growth and enjoy helping my clients find hope and long-term healing after life’s hardships. I foster a non-judgmental environment where people of all ages are encouraged to grow and flourish into the people they were created to be.  I also specialize in leadership development, including those in church ministry.

I earned my Graduate Certificate of Counseling and a Master in Education School Counseling, from Dallas Baptist University. I also hold a Bachelor degree in Education with an Early Childhood emphasis from Northern Arizona University.  I am an active member of the Texas Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
