Called by God to be a Christian counselor, Edith Winters has over 33 years as a mental health professional. First as a drug & alcohol counselor for 7 years, then as a public high school counselor for 17 years working with 14 & 15 year olds in Jenks, Oklahoma. Currently in private practice as Three Fold Cord Ministries in Tulsa, OK, helping people rewire their brains through the hope of Jesus Christ and the science of neuroplasticity. “I’m not retired; I’m re-wired!” In Romans 12:2 it says we are to ‘be transformed by the renewing our minds, that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” I used Emotional Brain Training in my sessions to discover old “wires” or “circuits” that need to be renewed!  And, there is much JOY in living with a renewed mind. So another scripture I love is: “The joy of the Lord is my strength!” I can help teens and adults work through the everyday stresses of life and get back to JOY!

I work part time and on a sliding scale. That means that since our organization is a ministry we rely on our clients to pay us as an offering of whatever they can comfortably afford as we do not take insurance. If what you can comfortably afford is zero, that’s okay too. We will work with you as long as you need and/or as long as we can! As God is our Jehovah Jireh! Our GREAT Provider!
