Dr. Champion is an independent consultant and the Chief Executive Officer of Maximizing Organizational & Kingdom Leaders (M.O.K.L.), a Christian counseling and educational consulting firm. She is also the Chancellor and Founder of MOKL Christian Academy (M.C.A.).

With over two decades of experience in trauma, mental health, human services, and addiction studies, Dr. Champion has observed the significant familial, economic, and community challenges that stem from the lack of foundational Godly principles and holistic leadership. She is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities to address these trauma-related issues effectively utilizing theoretical orientations and biblical principles.

Dr. Champion holds an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership & Development and a Ph.D. in Pastoral Clinical Counseling. She is also certified with the state of Illinois as a C.A.D.C. (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor). Dr. Champion is the author of several books, including “Kingdom Leadership… I Was Born for This,” “When Your Covering Is Holey,” as well as “Speaking the Language of Our Youth,” “Exposing the Impostor,” and “Jesus Wept, The Restorative Model: Grief and Grieving Through Biblical Principles.”
