About
Although I see clients from ages 15 and up, my primary focus has been divorce recovery and blended families. We all know that God hates divorce and there is good reason as the fallout from divorce can be painful and long lasting. However, we also know that we have a loving, protective, and merciful Lord who can bring beauty from the ashes. My calling is to walk alongside those who have survived divorce and long to have a redemption story.
Some people in the Christian community feel they are wearing a “scarlet letter” after their divorce. I help them to strip themselves of the shame and embarrassment they may feel and move forward in the freedom God gives us through the blood of Jesus Christ. We will examine what when wrong and will work to lean into to love and leadership of the Lord to follow the plan he has set out for us.
Along with all of this, I help blended families pick up the pieces and work toward working as a family unit. Blended families don’t fit any kind of “mold” so I work with them to find out what their definition of family might be and how to be as healthy as possible in that dynamic while also letting go of expectations of what we might think it “should” look like.
