Darah Ashlie M.A. BCCC
Certified Biblical Counselor, Personal/Life Coach
About
Are you feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and under equipped for the everyday stressors of life? Do you feel like you over function while those around you are under functioning? Maybe you feel confused about a close relationship in your life, or you’re even struggling to understand if the problems in your marriage are normal. You’re not alone. You don’t have to struggle through cycles of hurt and pain without answers. You can regain your health and even your happiness. It’s possible to have peace in your home and in your life, even if everything you’ve tried before hasn’t worked. You don’t have to suffer in silence, because God didn’t design us to have to heal in isolation.
As a Board Certified Christian Counselor who is trained in emotional abuse, trauma, the effects of narcissism in relationships, and grief, I am honored to come alongside my clients to help them find hope and healing. I consider our work together a sacred partnership. I also work with many women who are struggling with feelings of overwhelm, burnout, or with perfectionism, overthinking, people pleasing, low self worth, feelings of shame, spiritual abuse, or trouble finding their purpose and calling in life.
I received my masters in counseling with an emphasis on trauma and crisis care through Liberty University. I am certified through IBCC as a Board Certified Christian Counselor. I am also a certified mental health coach and trained in domestic violence and abuse. My family and I served as a missionaries both stateside and overseas for over seven years. So I also have a special passion for women serving in ministry, lay workers, and missionaries, as I understand the pressures that can come with being a woman serving in ministry and in foreign mission fields. I am also passionate about helping women overcome the pain of domestic abuse, church hurt, and spiritual abuse.
I am available for sessions by phone or video conferencing. You can connect with me at: www.darahashlie.com for more information. I offer individual sessions, as well as a 13 week group coaching program that opens up every January, April, and September, which you can learn about here: www.darahashlie.com/overcoming. Feel free to reach out to see if we’re a good match.
