About

Hello, my name is Cindy Eames. I have more than 25 years of experience providing individual, couples, and family counseling to clients ranging in age from 13 to 80 and beyond.

As a Christian counselor, I believe that our faith and relationship with Jesus Christ can provide guidance, strength, and support throughout every area of life. Our Christian values and beliefs influence how we understand ourselves, relate to others, make decisions, and respond to life’s challenges. They can also help us establish and set healthy boundaries and limits and build relationships grounded in compassion, honesty, wisdom, and respect.

Life can be challenging in many ways. You may be struggling personally, experiencing difficulties in your marriage or family, facing stress at work or school, or navigating grief, change, uncertainty, or trauma. During these times, you can look to God for comfort, wisdom, strength, and direction. Talk therapy can offer additional support by helping you better understand the concerns you are facing, explore possible solutions, and consider how you would like to move forward.

Counseling provides a confidential, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where we can work together to explore your concerns, recognize patterns that may be affecting your emotional well-being, and develop practical strategies for coping with life’s difficulties. Whether you are seeking counseling for yourself, your marriage, your family, or in regards to someone you care about, therapy can help you process difficult experiences while remaining grounded in your faith and personal values.

I have seen the meaningful progress people can make in therapy when they are given a respectful and compassionate space to work through life’s challenges. Because everyone experiences stress differently, emotional responses may range from mild anxiety or sadness to feelings that are intense and overwhelming. With appropriate therapeutic tools, healthy support, effective communication skills, and stress-management strategies, most challenges can be managed and, in some cases, resolved.

My goal is to meet you with compassion, understanding, and respect as you seek healing, growth, clarity, and a deeper understanding of how God may be leading you through this season of life. You do not have to face these difficulties alone. I welcome the opportunity to discuss your concerns and explore how counseling may support you.

Appointments are often available within a few days and may be scheduled in person or by telephone. Ongoing sessions can be arranged according to your individual needs and schedule. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
