I have been a licensed psychologist since 1995 after completing Master’s Degree from Marshall University in Huntington, WV in 1989.  From the beginning of my career I have been blessed to be in situations which provided an opportunity to blend my clinical skills and experience with my faith base.  Becoming a psychologist and working as a therapist are central to my self identity as well as God’s plan and purpose for my life.

Being able to meet clients where they are cognitively, emotionally and spiritually allows for a comprehensive approach to mental health, well being and restoration in all areas.

To clients who come with an existing faith base, I encourage use of scriptures and rely on spiritual practices to assist with their healing journey, whether the issues are personal/internal, interpersonal or trauma/loss based.  I am open to and accepting of working with clients of varying levels of faith, spiritual traditions or denominations as well as clients who do not profess a faith base and do not wish to pursue such as part of therapy.
