Therapeutic style:
Counseling style is shaped by story. My story includes being a pastor/missionary child, committing my life to become a Christ-follower and walking with the Holy Spirit, more than 30 years in ministry alongside my pastor husband, and receiving dual training in clinical mental health and biblical counseling. These experiences have formed my heart as an integrationist, someone who honors both the wisdom of Scripture and the insights of evidence‑based therapeutic care.
My passion:
Relationships are powerful. They can wound us deeply, and they can also be the very place where God brings healing, growth, and restoration. I believe the relational and spiritual parts of our lives are profoundly connected to our mental and emotional well‑being. Pieces of my work grows from my own healed relationships including my marriage and walking closely with couples and families in both church and clinical settings.
Inspired by Scripture:
Scripture reminds us to consider suffering as part of the human experience and the Christian life, just as it was for Jesus (Hebrews 12:3). Some of our pain may remain with us for a season as “hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life” (Proverbs 13:12). When hope feels delayed, our hearts can grow weary—but renewal is possible.
My desire is to offer a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your unique story, experience renewal, and move toward a more fulfilling life with both clinical support and Christ‑centered hope. I am honored to share these resources with clients who desire faith‑integrated counseling services.
