Life can become incredibly confusing and painful when you are in a relationship with someone who displays narcissistic, borderline, or other personality-disordered traits. Many of my clients come to counseling feeling exhausted, anxious, emotionally depleted, and questioning their own perceptions after years of navigating difficult family relationships, marriages, friendships, church environments, workplace dynamics, or caregiving responsibilities.

I am a retired NYC First Responder, who is motivated to help people move from surviving to thriving. I specialize in helping individuals recover from the effects of narcissistic abuse, chronic emotional manipulation, unhealthy relationship patterns, spiritual abuse, church hurt, and toxic family systems. I work with spouses, adult children, parents, siblings, friends, caregivers, ministry leaders, and helping professionals who have been impacted by both diagnosed and undiagnosed personality disorders. Together, we explore how these relationships and experiences have affected self-worth, boundaries, emotional health, decision-making, faith, and spiritual well-being.

Many of my clients come to counseling carrying wounds from faith communities, ministry settings, or relationships where Scripture, spiritual authority, or religious expectations were misused in ways that caused harm. Others find themselves struggling with questions about God, trust, forgiveness, or faith after experiencing betrayal, rejection, or abuse within a church context. I provide a safe space to process these experiences without judgment while helping clients discern healthy faith from unhealthy spiritual dynamics.

As a Christian counselor, I believe healing involves addressing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and grounded in both clinical expertise and biblical truth. I help clients understand the dynamics of emotional and spiritual abuse, develop healthy boundaries, process grief and loss, rebuild trust in themselves, and move toward freedom and healing. For those who desire it, faith and Scripture can be thoughtfully integrated into the counseling process.

In addition to relationship and personality disorder-related concerns, I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, codependency, spiritual confusion, family conflict, and recovery from unhealthy religious experiences. I am passionate about creating a safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to take an active role in their healing journey.

My guiding question is not, “What is wrong with you?” but rather, “What happened to you?” I believe every person has a story worth understanding, and healing often begins when that story can be shared in a safe and supportive environment.

Whether you are seeking clarity, healing, stronger boundaries, restoration of faith, or renewed hope, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.

The following are areas I have received training in: Basic EMDR (August 2023); Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (September 2023); additional training in working with Abuse, Trauma, and the Emotionally Destructive Marriage (Leslie Vernick/LightUniversity), Shame, Narcissistic Abuse, and Gaslighting; certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator; Certified Enneagram Coach trained by Beth and Jeff McCord (Your Enneagram Coach).

Your Enneagram Coach Program is a faith-based, gospel-centered approach to using the Enneagram to identify our core motivations and whether we are operating as Beloved Children of God or as ophrans.

PREPARE/ENRICH relationship assessment that guide couples through a structured process that helps strengthen communication, explore expectations, and build a healthier foundation for their relationship—whether preparing for marriage or strengthening an existing one.
