About
In therapy, I want to extend to others the hope and comfort that I have received from Jesus during my seasons of difficulty and waiting. Through my testimony I have felt God’s peace covering me and leading me to a deeper level of resiliency with Him, had I not have gone through those struggles. I know He can restore what is broken and can redeem what feels like lost time.
I have a background working with adults who struggle with addictions, traumatic experiences, boundary setting in relationships, and children who have autism. I create a compassionate space where your story can be validated, your burden can be shared, and where we can witness God’s fingerprints in your healing journey. Healing is not a linear process, and I will meet you where you feel comfortable at. I work with clients prayerfully and collaboratively to form purposeful goals that contribute to lasting change.
Scriptures that guide my work:
“Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary”. Isaiah 40:31
“For I am the Lord your God, who upholds your right hand, who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you'”. Isaiah 41:13
“I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces will never be ashamed”. Psalm 34:4-5
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” Psalm 34:18
“Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting”. Psalm 126:5
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight”. Proverbs 3:5-6
“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus”. Philippians 1:6
