About
I have worked in the mental health field for nearly 25 years and I have a passion for helping people resolve and get unstuck from the past to create more peace in their lives and relationships. I integrate the healing aspects of therapy with the activating aspects of coaching into my work with an emphasis on growth and expansion. It is such a joy when I can also integrate a biblical perspective and faith practices into my work with Christian clients.
My style is non-judgmental, compassionate and direct, with a dose of humor. Many of my clients present with anxiety, depression, relationship issues and unresolved trauma in their history. I use talk therapy, psycho-education and skill building to help them learn how to cope and communicate more effectively.
I integrate the wisdom of Neuroscience, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness practices to promote healing and growth. The result is greater self compassion, confidence and connection in my clients’ lives and relationships.
