About
Welcome! My name is Billie Hullum and my hope is to assist my clients in managing their hurts, habits, and hangups in a more positive way that is compatible with their beliefs, values and goals as well as encourage, equip, and empower them as individuals seeking a closer relationship with God and others.
I have been in the Augusta Georgia area for 41 years, I am married with two children and six grandchildren. I have served in the military, my father was a WWII veteran, and my daughter currently serves.
I am a graduate from Liberty University with a degree in Psychology/Christian Counseling, and a Certified SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) facilitator.
I am also a Board Certified Biblical Counselor, and Certified Advanced Christian Life Coach, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II through the Alcohol and Drug abuse Certification Brd of Georgia, Certified Anger Management Specialist II through The Association of Certified Anger Management Specialist, and I have been Ordained, Appointed, and Endorsed as a Registered Chaplain through Chaplain Fellowship Ministries.
Being a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I have worked with the treatment providers for the Augusta Richmond County Judicial Drug Court Program as an addiction counselor and case manager for 4 years and I have also served as a Georgia State Representative for Celebrate Recovery for the area for 2 years and I have had my own counseling practice now for 11 years.
I am also on the Georgia DBHDD registry for the DUI Intervention Program as a Clinical Evaluator providing clinical evaluations for those who have gotten a DUI as well as doing substance abuse assessments, and education for US Army National Guard service members. and DOT employees.
My calling in life is to help people live a healthier life physically, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually.
