Angie Sellers is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and the founder of Faithful Journey Counseling, LLC. She earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and has experience providing counseling in private practice, outpatient, school-based, family-based, substance use, and intensive outpatient settings.

Angie is passionate about creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where individuals and couples feel safe sharing their experiences, processing difficult emotions, and working toward meaningful change. She believes counseling is a collaborative journey that honors each person’s unique story, strengths, values, and goals.

Angie works with adults, couples, adolescents, and families experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, low self-worth, anger, and stress. Her therapeutic approach incorporates person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and practical coping strategies tailored to each client’s needs.

As a Christian counselor, Angie also offers faith-integrated counseling for clients who desire to incorporate biblical principles, prayer, and spiritual reflection into the therapeutic process. She respects each client’s beliefs and allows clients to determine how, or whether, faith is included in their counseling experience.

Angie’s goal is to help clients better understand themselves, develop healthier patterns, strengthen their relationships, and move forward with greater hope, confidence, and emotional well-being. She considers it an honor to walk alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges and take meaningful steps toward healing and restoration.
