Angie McDonald, MA graduated from Liberty University with a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Drury University. Angie is a licensed pastor, certified NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback trainer, certified SYMBIS and Prepare/Enrich premarital counselor, and is trained as a Christian Life Coach through the American Association of Christian Counselors. Angie enjoys working with teens, and young adults, walking with women in life transitions, parenting, as well as working with married and engaged couples. Angie also leads the NeurOptimal® services at Valley Christian Counseling. She sees the impact Neurofeedback has in her own life and is passionate about helping others achieve optimal brain health. Angie has previous experience in working with church staff developing pastoral care teams, conducting premarital groups, and mentoring. Angie is passionate about the health of church staff and enjoys serving, coaching, and mentoring women in ministry. Angie is married to her husband of thirty years and has two grown daughters. The oldest is entering the law profession, and the youngest, adopted from Guatemala, works with underserved communities. Angie and her husband enjoy exploring the South, serving their church, and warm weather activities.
