Angie McDonald, MA earned a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Drury University. She is a licensed pastor, Board Certified Pastoral Counselor, certified SYMBIS and Prepare/Enrich premarital facilitator, and a trained Christian Life Coach through the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Angie has a heart for walking alongside teens and young adults as they navigate relationships, identity, and life’s transitions. She also enjoys supporting individuals through seasons of singleness, parenting, marriage, and empty nesting. Whether working with individuals or couples, Angie creates a compassionate, encouraging environment where clients can gain practical tools, deepen their relationships, and move toward lasting growth.

She also enjoys helping married couples reconnect, strengthen communication, and build healthy, thriving relationships. As a certified SYMBIS and Prepare/Enrich facilitator, she guides engaged couples through premarital counseling, helping them establish a strong foundation for marriage. In addition, Angie equips individuals experiencing anxiety, ruminating thoughts, or feelings of being overwhelmed with practical strategies and biblical encouragement to help them move forward with confidence and hope.

Before entering private practice, Angie served in a variety of church leadership roles, including developing pastoral care ministries, leading premarital groups, mentoring staff members, and caring for church teams. She is especially passionate about supporting the health and well-being of pastors, ministry leaders, and women serving in ministry.

Angie has been married to her husband for more than thirty years. Outside of counseling, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, serving in her church, and anything involving warm weather.
