Amy is a compassionate registered mental health counselor intern, transformational life coach, and registered nurse. She is Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1 trained. Her therapeutic approach is person-centered and attachment-based, offering compassion and curiosity to all parts, fostering internal harmony and intimacy with one’s God-created Self, leading to wholeness and profound healing. Amy provides a warm and nurturing environment for healing and growth.
In addition, Amy is a Certified Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) Provider and is informed by Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Brainspotting. Her 25-plus years of nursing experience provide a deep understanding of the mind-body connection and a steadfast dedication to fostering healing from the inside out, emphasizing holistic well-being and comprehensive care for her clients. Amy’s personal journey through childhood traumas, spiritual abuse, grief, emotional neglect, and chronic physical pain equips her to engage with the sacred stories of others with tenderness and compassion.
Each client is invited to gently and compassionately delve into their unique story, exploring how early experiences and underlying roots shape patterns of relating. Amy tenderly guides individuals through the landscape of their emotions and experiences, facilitating a deeper understanding of the profound interconnectedness between thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and behaviors. She accompanies her clients on paths of self-discovery, identifying areas of growth, navigating emotional wounds, strengthening internal and external relationships, and cultivating beauty and life-giving growth.
In her downtime, Amy enjoys cherished moments with her husband of 29 years, family gatherings with her three sons and daughters-in-love, and time with her two granddaughters. She finds rejuvenation with her feet in the sand, savoring the tranquility and serenity nature’s beauty, or nestled in a cozy corner of a coffee shop, engaging in heartfelt conversations with friends.
