About

A Slice of My Life

As a licensed mental health therapist (for over 12 years) follower of Christ (born again), my work is grounded in both clinical wisdom and the timeless truths of Scripture. I view therapy as sacred space—a meeting place where grace, truth, and healing intersect. My own journey of faith has been shaped by seasons of loss, resilience, and deep restoration. I’ve come to believe that God doesn’t waste pain, and it’s an honor to walk alongside others as they navigate their own valleys and victories.

How I Integrate Faith

In sessions, I often invite biblical reflection, prayer (when welcomed), and spiritual discernment into the therapeutic process. I draw on Scripture not as a bandaid, but as a lamp (Psalm 119:105), offering gentle light in places that feel dark or confusing. Whether through exploring identity in Christ, addressing distorted beliefs, or practicing forgiveness and compassion, my approach honors both psychological insight and God’s redemptive love.

Scriptures That Guide My Work

Two scriptures that deeply influence my work are Isaiah 61:1–3 and Romans 12:2. Isaiah reminds me that Christ came to “bind up the brokenhearted… to give beauty for ashes,” and that is often the quiet miracle of the therapeutic journey. Romans 12:2 speaks to the transformation that is possible—not by willpower alone, but through the renewing of the mind.

My Clients

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, identity questions, and relational challenges. Many of my clients are believers looking for a space where both faith and mental health are honored and explored with care. I also support those wrestling with church hurt, spiritual deconstruction, or rebuilding trust in God after disappointment.

A Final Word

Healing is not linear, but it is holy. I believe we are all image-bearers with unique stories, and that the Lord is always in the business of redemption—even in the places that feel forgotten or hopeless.
