I’m Alexandra Rivera, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families find healing, clarity, and hope.

I specialize in trauma, addiction, and 12-step recovery, and I work with women, couples, and families navigating codependency, relational struggles, and the impact of domestic violence. My goal is to help you break unhealthy cycles, build healthier relationships, and rediscover your sense of identity and purpose.

As a bilingual counselor (English/Spanish), I serve a diverse and multicultural community, with a strong understanding of Hispanic family dynamics. For those who desire it, I also offer faith-based counseling. As a follower of Christ for over 30 years and with a background in ministry and inner healing, I gently integrate biblical principles into the counseling process—always at your pace and comfort level.

My approach is compassionate and personalized, using EMDR and Person-Centered Therapy to help you process trauma, grow in self-awareness, and experience lasting change. Therapy with me is a safe, supportive space where you can be honest, feel understood, and begin to move forward.

Outside of my work, I’m a wife, a mom of three, part of a blended family, and a proud grandma to many. I love gardening, spending time with family, and traveling—things that keep me grounded and connected. Soy bilingüe (inglés/español) y trabajo con una comunidad multicultural, con especial sensibilidad a la cultura hispana.

Para quienes lo desean, integro la fe en el proceso terapéutico. Soy cristiana desde hace más de 30 años y he servido en ministerio acompañando procesos de sanidad interior. Utilizo principalmente EMDR y Terapia Centrada en la Persona para ayudarte a procesar el dolor y avanzar hacia una vida más plena.

Fuera de la terapia, soy esposa, mamá de tres, parte de una familia mezclada y orgullosa abuela. Disfruto la jardinería, viajar y compartir tiempo con mi familia.
