I’m Akisha, a licensed therapist (LPC) serving clients in Texas and Pennsylvania. For over 15 years, I’ve walked with people through trauma, childhood wounds, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and shame. I’ve seen, again and again, that healing is possible.

I created a practice where you don’t have to choose between your faith and your mental health. Here, they work together. My clinical approach is trauma-informed and grounded in proven methods: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) giving you tools for real life, not just a place to vent.

Whether you’re carrying the weight of something that happened long ago, healing from an abusive relationship, working through anxiety or depression, or tired of a voice inside telling you that you’re not enough you don’t have to sort through it alone. So much of what we carry as shame was never ours to hold in the first place, and I’d love to help you set it down.

And if your faith matters to you, I won’t ask you to leave your relationship with Christ at the door, and I also won’t turn our sessions into a Bible study this is licensed clinical therapy, not Biblical counseling. What it is: a space where your faith can be a genuine source of strength as you do the deeper work of healing.
