Hi!  I’m Abigail Pederson, Licensed Professional Counselor and Christian counselor based here in Flagstaff, AZ.

We all face challenges in life. We desire closeness, connection, recognition, peace. Yet often these elude us. Instead, depression, anxiety, and lack of connection or meaning are familiar. We long to restore these connections and find success, even joy!

I offer secular and faith-based therapy incorporating each clients’ individual faith into our work where appropriate.

I come alongside my clients and families, offering support in their journey towards health and wholeness – to find tools to cope in the present and build healing for a fulfilling future to reach their potential under Christ.

I practice therapy addressing the whole person – mental, physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual. I believe in a collaborative effort between myself, my clients, and their families. I am passionate to inspire faith and personal growth into our work!

More on my background…I began work in Flagstaff in 2019, in community mental health working with a reentry program for felony drug offenders and those struggling with substance abuse.  I ran group programs and provided individual counseling.

Previously, I have a background in various community mental health settings working with foster and adoptive placements, school-aged/based populations, SMI populations, crisis intervention, drug court and IOP since 2004.

I graduated from Ottawa University and Phoenix Seminary in 2010, through a joint program in Masters of Professional Counseling with a Graduate Diploma in Christian Counseling. I am excited to partner with you in pursuing health and wholeness in the body of Christ and throughout our communities.

Abigail is a wife of 21 years and mother to 4 growing, young men.  She loves all things creative – writing, cooking, drawing, painting and being outdoors with her family.  Abigail loves the mountains and has made Arizona her home for the last 30 years.  She hopes of one day becoming a published author and has big dreams for what God will do through her “yes”.  She has been journeying with the Lord since age 3.
