My journey into pastoral counseling has been shaped by a deep conviction that God meets people with both truth and grace in life’s most difficult moments. Through years of pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, and counseling in churches, correctional settings, hospice care, and community outreach, I have witnessed God’s faithfulness in bringing hope, healing, and restoration to individuals, couples, and families facing grief, anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, and spiritual struggles. Those experiences have strengthened my calling to walk alongside others with compassion, wisdom, and practical support while pointing them toward the hope found in Christ.

Several Scriptures continually guide my ministry. Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds me to seek God’s wisdom above my own in every counseling relationship. Galatians 6:2 calls me to help bear one another’s burdens with humility and love. Psalm 34:18 is a constant reminder that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and Romans 15:13 encourages me to help others discover lasting hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

In counseling, I strive to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and supported. With each client’s permission and according to their comfort level, I thoughtfully integrate biblical principles through Scripture, prayer, faith-centered reflection, and Christ-centered encouragement alongside evidence-based counseling approaches. Together, we explore how God’s truth can strengthen emotional wellness, deepen spiritual growth, restore relationships, and equip clients with practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with resilience, wisdom, and renewed hope.
