Rev. Dr. Donna Jarvis attended George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1995 and a Master of Science in Nursing in 2000.   In 2004, Dr. Jarvis entered Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA, to begin formal study for ministry. She was Licensed to preach by Mount Olive Baptist Church, Stafford, VA in 2005.  She was Ordained as a Minister of the Gospel by Vision Community Church and the Fredericksburg Area Baptist Association in 2008.   Dr. Jarvis earned a Master of Divinity, from Baptist Theological Seminary in 2008 with an emphasis in preaching and worship.  In 2011 Dr. Jarvis graduated from Andersonville Theological Seminary with a Doctorate in Christian Counseling. She is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor through The National Christian Counselors Association.  She is a Board Certified Master Mental health Coach credential from the Board of Mental Health Coaching.  Rev. Dr. Donna Jarvis is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Over the years Dr. Jarvis has served in Church Plants in the role of Youth Pastor, Elder, and Pastor.

Rev. Dr. Jarvis currently serves as an Assistant Pastor at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Stafford, VA.   She considers it a privilege to serve in Congregational Care, addressing the needs of the body, mind and soul of congregation members and members of the community.    Providing Individual Counseling and Grief Support Groups.

Rev. Jarvis is a member of the National Christian Counselors Association, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.  Dr. Jarvis is the Founder of the former Outside the Walls Christian Ministry an outreach Ministry in Stafford VA meeting the needs of Women, Children, and Families from 2007 until 2018.  She is a Domestic Violence Survivor which strengthened her Spiritually and Ignited her desire to empower those caught up in the vicious cycle of helplessness and hopelessness by breaking down walls and pointing them in the direction of Christ to walk in their purpose.

Dr. Jarvis is featured in the book, ‘Voices of Women of the Cloth’ by Claire Cole Curcio.  Which highlights her journey from Domestic Violence Survivor to the Pulpit.

Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.
