I believe that no part of our story is wasted and that healing becomes possible when we are met with compassion, truth, and the hope of Christ. My own journey has included trauma, recovery, chronic illness, military-family life, and seasons when God called me to begin again. Those experiences have shaped how I care for others and deepened my belief that our hardest chapters do not disqualify us from living with purpose.

I am an ordained non-denominational pastor and Board Certified Pastoral Counselor with an educational background in Christian counseling, pastoral counseling, crisis intervention, and trauma care. I support individuals navigating trauma, grief, chronic illness, military life, relationship challenges, faith struggles, major transitions, and questions of identity, purpose, and calling.

At the heart of my counseling approach is a question I often return to: “Perhaps this is it?” Perhaps this is the moment when healing begins, when someone recognizes that their story still matters, or when God reveals purpose within a chapter they never would have chosen. I help people move beyond simply surviving and begin learning how to live on mission, not through pressure to accomplish more, but by recognizing that even an ordinary life can carry extraordinary purpose.

My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, practical, and grounded in Scripture. Depending on each person’s needs and comfort level, sessions may include prayer, biblical reflection, spiritual formation, healthy coping strategies, and conversations about how faith connects with emotional and relational well-being. I do not believe in using Scripture to dismiss pain or rush someone through healing. Instead, I strive to create a safe, grace-filled space where people can be honest about what they are experiencing while discovering hope and taking meaningful steps forward.

Several passages guide my work, including Psalm 34:18, which reminds us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted; Galatians 6:2, which calls us to carry one another’s burdens; and Romans 12:2, which speaks to the renewing of our minds. Above all, I want every person I serve to know that they are seen, their story matters, and they do not have to walk through difficult seasons alone.
