My faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of both my life and my approach to counseling. Although I grew up in the church, my personal relationship with Christ became especially meaningful during a difficult season in my own marriage. Through that experience, God strengthened my faith, restored my understanding of marriage and family, and helped shape my calling to ministry and Christian counseling.

My approach is supported by both ministry experience and formal education and training. I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Pastoral Counseling and a Master of Arts in Religion with a concentration in Pastoral Counseling. I am also trained and licensed as a Clinical Pastoral Counselor through the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA), with specialized training in Temperament Therapy and the Arno Profile System (APS). This training allows me to integrate Biblical principles with practical counseling methods to help clients better understand their God-given temperament, emotional needs, relationships, and patterns of behavior.

One of the foundational scriptures guiding my work is 1 Corinthians 3:11: “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” I am also guided by Proverbs 18:21, which reminds us of the power of our words, and Philippians 4:13, which points us toward the strength available through Christ.

In counseling, I incorporate Scripture, prayer, Biblical principles, forgiveness, grace, personal responsibility, and practical counseling strategies based on each client’s needs and goals. My desire is to provide a compassionate, Christ-centered environment where individuals and couples can address life’s challenges, strengthen their relationships, experience meaningful growth, and ultimately reposition their lives on the Foundation—Jesus Christ.
