As a Christian counselor, I am privileged to participate in the Lord’s work of redemption as He counters the fall and its consequences.  In my personal and professional life, I am encouraged and propelled by Ephesians 2:10.  I rejoice that we are created by God for His eternally significant purposes; I see Christian counseling as the act of coming together before the Lord and searching His Word for wisdom, power, and guidance so that both parties grow and become equipped and empowered to fulfill those purposes.

I am also convinced that the Lord’s redemptive work happens most naturally and powerfully in the context of the body of believers.  I seek to build a healthy relationship with my clients and encourage them to exercise a commitment to a local body of believers so that sin and brokenness can be exposed, forgiven, and healed and that they might experience the blessing of growing and using their God-given gifts to serve others.
